Ada kata-kata yang timbul dan dipakai pada periode tertentu, tidak dikenal pada periode sebelumnya, dan bisa pula terjadi tidak dipakai lagi pada periode sesudahnya. Teori ini, menurut Harun Nasution, dapat diterapkan terhadap teks hadis.<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref1\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn1\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[1]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoFooter\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; tab-stops: 36.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Apa yang dimasudkan Nasution di atas sama dengan atau pengembangan dari pendapat ulama yang memandang pentingnya penelitian terhadap matan hadis.<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref2\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn2\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[2]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Penenltian tersebut, dalam pandangan ahli hadis, dimaksudkan untuk menghindarkan lafal-lafal hadis yang sedang diteliti dari kejanggalan (<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">syudzudz<\/em>) dan cacat (<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">&lsquo;illat<\/em>).<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref3\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn3\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[3]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Penelitian ini secara operasional dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan hadis yang sedang diteliti dengan al-Qur&rsquo;an, hadis lainnya yang semakna atau mempunyai tema yang sama, analogi (<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">qiyas<\/em>), pernyataan sahabat, kejadian-kejadian yang tercerap dalam sejarah, dan analisis rasional (logis dan filosofis).<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref4\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn4\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[4]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Dalam penentuan prosedur penelitian matan ini, secara operasional ulama mendapatkan kesulitan sehingga mereka tidak membuat klasifikasi secara sistematis dalam tehnik-tehnik penelitiannya.<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref5\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn5\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[5]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Inilah problem pertama kali muncul dalam penelitian matan hadis.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoFooter\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; tab-stops: 36.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Problem lain yang segera muncul dalam penelitian matan hadis ialah problem teologis, yakni menyangkut keyakinan bahwa hadis yang kenyataannya menggunakan bahasa Nabi saw. (Arab), menurut pandangan mayoritas ulama hadis secara teologis merupakan bahasa Tuhan, artinya hadis adalah bahasa Tuhan yang termetaforkan dalam bahasa Nabi saw.<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref6\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn6\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[6]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Sebaliknya, al-Qur&rsquo;an yang secara teologis diyakini sebagai bahasa Tuhan, pada kenyataannya, menggunakan bahasa (bangsa) Arab.<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref7\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn7\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[7]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoFooter\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; tab-stops: 36.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Perlu dicatat, walaupun al-Qur&rsquo;an menggunakan bahasa Arab, tidak jarang kata yang dipergunakan al-Qur&rsquo;an berbeda dengan makna yang dipahami bangsa Arab ketika itu. Misalnya, kata &ldquo;<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Shalat<\/em>&rdquo; yang menurut orang Arab berarti do&rsquo;a, oleh al-Qur&rsquo;an dimaknai sebagai ucapan dan perbuatan tertentu yang dimulai dengan takbir dan diakhiri dengan salam.<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref8\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn8\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[8]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Sebaliknya, sekalipun hadis diyakini sebagai bahasa metafor Tuhan, akan tetapi bahasa yang dipergunakannya berbeda dengan bahasa al-Qur&rsquo;an.<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref9\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn9\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[9]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Bahkan, kosa kata yang dipergunakan hadis cenderung mengikuti perkembangan makna yang dimaksudkan al-Qur&rsquo;an atau bahkan memberikan interpretasi terhadap kosa kata yang dimaksudkan al-Qur&rsquo;an, seperti hadis yang menjelaskan arti kata &ldquo;<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">al-kautsar<\/em>&rdquo; dalam surat al-Kautsar (108): 1. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoFooter\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; tab-stops: 36.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Orang-orang Arab menggunakan kata <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">al-kautsar<\/em><span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>untuk menamai segala sesuatu yang banyak bilangannya, atau tinggi nilainya, bahkan orang yang mempunyai jasa yang banyak terhadap masyarakat disebut dengan <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">al-kautsar<\/em>.<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref10\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn10\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[10]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Akan tetapi, Rasulullah menjelaskan bahwa maksud <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">al-kautsar<\/em> dalam Surat al-Kautsar (108): 1 tersebut dengan sungai yang diberikan Allah swt. kepada beliau.<\/span><\/span><a name=\"_ftnref11\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftn11\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Times New Roman\",\"serif\"; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">[11]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\";\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Rasulullah tidak memberikan pengertian seperti yang dipahami orang Arab ketika itu.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"mso-element: footnote-list;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> <\/p>\n<hr size=\"1\" \/> <\/span> <\/p>\n<div id=\"ftn1\" style=\"mso-element: footnote;\">\n<p class=\"MsoFootnoteText\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><a name=\"_ftn1\" href=\"http:\/\/syariah.uin-malang.ac.id\/#_ftnref1\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"line-height: 200%; font-family: \"Garamond\",\"serif\"; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">[1]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Garamond; font-size: x-small;\">Saiful Muzani (ed.), <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Islam Rasional: Gagasan dan Pemikiran Prof. Dr. Harun Nasution<\/em> (Cet.
